SPECIAL EPISODE:

I would like to introduce Dr. David Wallace, one of the leading voices in contemporary philosophy of physics, who is joining me today on the AstroArticulated Podcast. Dr. Wallace obtained his bachelor's degree in physics from the University of Oxford’s Merton College. He then earned his DPhil in theoretical physics from Oxford in 2001 and his Bphil as a student of philosophy, also from Oxford, in 2004. From 2005 to 2014, Dr. Wallace remained at the University of Oxford as a researcher and faculty member, working across both disciplines of physics and philosophy. In 2016, Dr. Wallace became a professor of philosophy at the University of Southern California for 3 years. He now holds the Mellon Chair in Philosophy with joint appointments in the Department of Philosophy and the Department of History and Philosophy of Science. Dr. Wallace has also published multiple award winning books about the philosophy of physics, quantum theory, and the Many Worlds Interpretation.

This episode is a continuation of my conversation with Philosopher of Physics Dr. David Wallace in which we continue to discuss the Born Rule, the Many Worlds Interpretation, the Copenhagen Interpretation, and probability.
